Removal and Installation
Batteries
If the set of baeries has 50 or more cycles on them, do not put a new baery into the set. Either replace with all new
baeries or use a good used baery. Baery maintenance requirements change as they age. As they age they usually
require longer charging me and a higher nish rate. The newer baery mixed in with old baeries will end up being
overcharged, which will cause it to fail prematurely.
WARNING!
Use extreme cauon when working with baeries. Sulfuric acid in baeries can cause severe injury if allowed to contact
the skin or eyes. Explosive hydrogen gas is vented from the baeries through openings in the baery caps. This gas can
be ignited by any electrical arc, spark or ame. Do not install any lead-acid baery in a sealed container or enclosure.
Hydrogen gas from overcharging must be allowed to escape.

• Wear safety glasses, rubber gloves and a rubber apron
