Preparing the load
Remove coarse food residues from the dishware.
There is no need to rinse items under running water!
Ensur
e that no acid or solvent residues, especially hydrochloric
acid or chlorides, get inside the machine.
Do
not wash items soiled with ash, sand, wax, grease or paint
in the dishwasher.
These substances will damage the dishwasher.
L
oad the respective cookware and utensil into the appropriate pla‐
ces in the baskets, but observe the following instructions:
L
oad the cookware so that water can access all surfaces. This en‐
sures that they get properly cleaned.
L
oad plates symmetrically in the upper and lower baskets with the
concave surface towards the center of the basket (as shown on the
following pages).
D
o not place dishes or cutlery inside other pieces. They will cover
each other.
M
ake sure that all items are securely positioned.
H
ollow items such as cups, glasses, pans, etc. must be inverted in
the basket.
T
all, narrow, hollow items should be placed in the center of the bas‐
ket if possible to ensure better water coverage.
C
oncave items such as mugs or bowls should be placed at an an‐
gle so that the water can run off.
T
he spray arms must not be blocked by items which are too tall or
hang through the baskets. If in doubt, test for free movement by
manually rotating the spray arms.
M
ake sure that small items cannot fall through the holders in the
baskets. Small items, e.g. lids, should therefore be placed in the
cutlery basket.
