10.6.2 View Heat Map Data
Heat map can observe and calculate the people ow in a predened area and display the ow
stascs in graphical form. It can be applied to scenes of large passenger ow such as malls,
supermarkets, and museums. You can nd the customers' preferences to adjust the places of
merchandise through heat map.
Before You Start
Finish heat map conguraon. For details, refer to Set Heat Map .
Steps
1.
Go to Applicaon Display → Heat Map .
2.
Select Report Type. Daily report, weekly report, monthly report, and annual report are
selectable.
3.
Select Heat Map Type. Spaal heat map and me heat map are selectable.
4.
Select Stascs Type. By dwell me and by people number are selectable.
5.
Select Stascs Time.
6.
Click Search.
Daily report calculates the data on the date you selected; weekly report calculates the week data
your selected date belongs to; monthly report calculates the data for the month your selected
date belongs to; and the annual report calculates the data for the year your selected date
belongs to.
Example
Aer the calculang, you can view the data in the spaal heat map and me heat map.
Spaal Heat Map
Perform a stascal analysis on the cumulave dwelling of people in dierent areas in the
enre image.
Dierent heat values correspond to dierent colors, among which red (255, 0, 0) represents the
highest heat, and blue (0, 0, 255) represents the lowest heat. The highest heat value and lowest
heat value are divided into N levels, corresponding to dierent colors.
Time Heat Map
Perform a stascal analysis on the total dwelling me of all people in the enre image.
The me heat map is presented in a line chart, and you can click Export to export the data in an
excel le.

People counng is used to calculate the number of people entering or exing an area.
