10.5 People Management

People management is used to detect and analyze people number and changes in a predened

region. It can be applied to the entrances and exits, supermarkets, etc.

Note

For certain device models, you need to enable People Management on VCA page rst.

●

The funcon is only supported by certain device models.

10.5.1 On/O Duty Detecon

When a target in a predened area triggers an on/o duty rule, the device can take linkage acons.

It can detect the on/o duty status and people number changes in a predened area.

Before You Start

Go to VCA and select the applicaon. Select People Management and click Next to enable the

funcon.

●

For the device supporng HEOP, go to VCA to import and enable People Management.

Steps

Go to VCA → Set Applicaon → People Management → On/O Duty Detecon → Rule .

Click Add and edit the rule name according to your need.

Select a rule and set the rule parameters.

Absence Detecon

If the people number in the set area is less than the value of Person On Duty and the lasng

me is longer than the Absence Duraon, an alarm is triggered.

On/O Duty Detecon

It includes on/o duty situaon detecon.

People Number OSD

It overlays the real-me people number on the live view. You can adjust the OSD locaon by

dragging the mouse.
