Configuring input settings
Configuring the EDID setting
Enable or disable the Ext ended Display I dent ificat ion Dat a ( EDI D) for HDMI 2.0 t o play v ideos fr om
hardware devices, such as DVD players.
The m ost com m only used HDMI versions are HDMI 1.4 and 2.0, with differences in bandwidt h.
HDMI 1.4 has lim ited rate of 2K. 4K22- HS and 4K13- HS proj ect ors are com patible wit h bot h HDMI
1.4 and HDMI 2.0.
When t he proj ect or is connected t o a hardware device support ing HDMI 1.4 only, disable t he EDI D
for HDMI 2.0 t o play the videos proper ly.
1. Select Menu > Input Switching & PIP > EDID.
2. Select the HDMI 1, HDMI 2, or HDBaseT it em where you want t o enable EDI D.
3. Set 1.4 or 2.0.
4. To confirm t he sett ing, select ENTER.
Configuring the HDMI output
Set t he default HDMI out put port .
1. Select Menu > Input Switching & PIP > HDMI Out put.
2. Select HDMI 1 or HDMI 2 as t he HDMI out put .
3. To confirm t he sett ing, select ENTER.
