Configuring communications

Adjusting WLAN setting

Set up net work configurat ion for wireless net working.

1. Select Menu > Configuration > Communications > WLAN.

2. Set up t he appropriate sett ing:

• SSID—Displays t he SSI D of t he wireless net work.

• Enable—Enables or disables t he w ireless funct ionalit y.

• Start IP—Assigns the st art I P address of t he wireless net work.

• End IP—Assigns t he end I P address of t he w ireless net work.

• Subnet Mask—Assigns t he subnet m ask of t he wireless.

• Default Gateway—Assigns t he gat eway of t he wireless.

3. To apply the WLAN set tings, select Apply.

Adjusting network setting

Set up net work configuration set t ing, such as reset back t o default .

1. Select Menu > Configuration > Communications > Network.

2. Set up t he appropriate net work sett ing:

• Show Network Message—Enables or disables t o display of t he net work m essage.

• Reset to Default—Reset s the net work configurat ion set ting, including LAN set ting and

WLAN set t ing, t o default .

3. To apply the net wor k configurat ion, select ENTER.

Setting serial port baud rate

Select t he serial port and baud rat e.

1. Select Menu > Configuration > Communications > Serial Port Baud rate.

2. Set up t he appropr iat e baud rat e.

3. To confirm t he select ion, select ENTER.

Enabling serial port echo

Enable or disable t o allow the CLI pass t hrough.

1. Select Menu > Configuration > Communications > Serial Port Echo.

2. To swap, select ENTER.
