Adjusting the color balance
Adj ust the red- green color balance in NTSC video im ages. NTSC, nam ed aft er t he Nat ional
Television Syst em Com m it t ee, is t he analog video color syst em used in North Am erica and m ost of
the Sout h Am erica count r ies. This feat ure is for NTSC video sources only.
1. Select Menu > Image Settings > Video Options > Tint.
2. Adj ust t he slider by arrow keys or select ENTER t o input t he value.
3. Aft er inputt ing the value, select ENTER t o apply.
Configuring picture settings
Depending on display cont ent , choose t he m ost suit able pict ure set tings. Different pict ure set tings
have different color t em perat ure, bright ness, and so on.
1. Select Menu > Image Settings > Picture Settings.
2. Select t he appropriate pict ure set ting:
• Video—Used for t heat er applicat ion. I t set s t he color t em perat ure to 6000K w it h 70% of
m axim um bright ness.
• Bright—Used for large size or high bright ness applicat ion. I t sets t he color tem perature
to 7500K wit h 100% bright ness.
• Enhanced—Used for im ages wit h richly saturat ed and vivid color. I t is based on
brightness m ode.
• REC709—Used for high- definition t elevision. I t set s t he color t em perat ure t o 6500K w it h
80% of the m axim um bright ness.
• DICOM SIM—Used for high cont rast cont ent , such as X-ray diagram . I t sets t he color
tem perat ure t o 7500K with 65% bright ness.
• Blending—Used for m ult iple proj ect or application. I t set s t he color t em perat ure t o
7000K wit h 85% of m axim um bright ness.
• HDR—Used for displaying high dynam ic range cont ent for deepest blacks, bright est
whites, and vivid cinem at ic color using REC.2020 color gam ut .
• 3D—Used t o display t he 3D cont ent . For m ore inform at ion on configuring 3D sett ings,

• High Frame Rate—Used for displaying 2D input signal at 240Hz.
• User—Cust om ized pict ure set t ing. See Editing customized picture setting on page 41
for furt her details of cr eat ing a custom ized pict ure set ting.
3. Select ENTER.
