Configuring input settings
List all Sources—Select s listing all t he input sources available for select ion.
Auto Sources—Aut om atically searches t he source.
3. To confirm t he select ion, select ENTER.
Setting up the backup input
Use t he Backup I nput function t o set up t wo input sources wit h t he sam e tim ing specificat ion using
the HDMI switch/ split t er. Upon loss of one input source due t o the dam aged cable, t he pr oj ect or
aut om at ically swit ches t o t he ot her source. The swit ching t im e is less t han 1 second.
1. Select Menu > Input Switching & PIP > Backup Input.
2. Set up t he appropriate sett ing:
Auto Switch—Select s t he checkbox t o enable aut om at ically sw itch t o backup input
source when the current signal fails.
Current Signal—Shows t he current active signal.
First Input—Selects t he first input . When t he selected source is activated, t he on- screen
display ( OSD) m enu displays the signals Resolut ion, Horz Refresh, and Color Space.
Second Input—Select s t he second input . When t he select ed source is act ivat ed, t he
OSD m enu displays t he signals Resolut ion, Horz Refresh, and Color Space.
Adjusting the sub image
Adj ust t he im age relat ed set t ings for t he sub source in PI P m ode.
1. Select Menu > Input Switching & PIP > Adjust Sub Image.
2. Select t he appropriate color space for t he sub source:
Enabling low latency mode
Enable t he Low Lat ency Mode t o m inim ize t he input lag. This function is used for live broadcasting,
st ream ing m edia, and sim ilar installat ions.
1. Select Menu > Input Switching & PIP > Low Latency Mode.
2. Select t he appropriate m ode.
Normal—No functional restrictions but longer delay t im e.
Ultra—Reduces latency in 2D m ode but set s restrictions when warping t he im age.
Ult ra does not support 3D, input t im ings outside t he range of 60fps, 120fps and 240fps,
PI P/ PBP m ode, and im age freeze.
3. To confirm t he select ion, select ENTER.
The support ed sources are HDMI 1, HDMI 2, Display Port , and HDBaseT.
PI P/ PBP, Aut o Source, 3D, and 120Hz t im ing condit ions are not suppor t ed.
The prim ary and secondary source m ust have t he sam e Resolut ion, Horz Refresh/ Fram e Rat e, and
Color Space set t ings.
