Diagnostic tools
Follow t hese pr ocedures t o help diagnose issues with HS Ser ies 4K proj ect ors.
Viewing projector information
View t he st at us of t he proj ector, source inform at ion, light source inform at ion, and com m unicat ion
infor m at ion. The inform at ion is read- only.
1. To view t he st atus of t he proj ect or, such as m odel nam e, serial num ber, and so on, select Menu
> Information > Status Info.
2. To view source inform at ion, such as act ive source, signal form at , and so on, select Menu >
Information > Source Info.
3. To view backup input inform at ion, such as backup input status, backup input change, and so
on, select Menu > Information > Backup Input Info.
4. To view t he com m unicat ion inform at ion, such as net wor k st at us, pr oj ect or's I P address, subnet ,
and so on, select Menu > Information > Communications Info.
5. To view t he light source inform at ion, such as t ot al proj ect or hours and laser diode ( LD) hours,
select Menu > Information > Light Source Info.
6. To view t he firm ware inform at ion, such as firm ware ( FW) version, and so on, select Menu >
Information > Firmware Version Info.
Selecting a test pattern
Use t he proj ector's t est pat terns t o assist wit h configurat ion of t he proj ect or and t o diagnose any
issues t hat m ay occur.
1. Select Test Pat tern on rem ot e control.
You can also select t he t est pat terns from Menu > Test Pattern.
2. Scroll t hrough t he list of t est patt erns by left and right arrow keys on rem ot e cont rol.
3. Select t he required t est pat t ern.
4. To confirm your select ion, select ENTER.
