Configuring light

settings

Learn how t o configure t he light set tings.

Setting light source mode

Set up light source m ode depending t he environm ent .

1. Select Menu > Light Source > Light Source Mode.

2. Select appropr iat e light source m ode:

• Constant Power—Enable Const ant Power t o set t he proj ect or bright ness t o a specific

level cont rolled by t he laser diode pow er. See

Adjusting the light power on page 66 for

furt her det ails of sett ing t he laser diode pow er.

I f const ant power is enabled in t he proj ect or t hen this funct ion is activat ed when t he

volt age is below 140 Vac. For exam ple, if const ant power in 4K22- HS is set t o 77 t hen t he

proj ector will keep t he laser diode power at 85% which is around ~ 1300W.

• Constant Intensity—After enabling Const ant Power, select Constant I nt ensit y t o

m aint ain current const ant bright ness and color set t ings. This funct ion can rem ain at

current sett ing for longer period of t im e t han Const ant Power m ode and is used for long-

term proj ect ing or blending.

Perform light sensor calibrat ion before enabling Const ant I nt ensit y.

When Const ant I nt ensit y is enabled, Dynam ic Black and Real Black funct ions are

aut om atically disabled.

When Pict ure Set t ings is changed under Constant I nt ensit y, t he light source m ode

aut om atically changes back t o Const ant Power..

• ECO 1 (80%)—Set t he proj ect or t o 80% const ant bright ness and color set tings.

• ECO 2 (50%)—Set t he proj ector t o 50% constant bright ness and color set tings.

3. Select ENTER.
