Configuring communications
Setting the projector address
Assign an address t o t he proj ect or for I R rem ot e connect ion.
1. To set t he proj ect or address, select Menu > Configuration > Communications > Projector
Address.
2. Select specific num ber for t his proj ector from 0 t o 9.
3. To m at ch up with t he proj ect or address, select PROJ and specific num ber key.
The proj ector responds t o t he I R rem ot e set to t he sam e address as the proj ect or or t o t he I R
rem ot e set t o address 0.
Adjusting the back light settings
Control t he back light behavior and t im eout sett ing for t he keypad and st at us LED.
1. Select Menu > Configuration > Backlight Preferences > Keypad Backlight.
2. Select t he appropriate sett ing for keypad backlight .
3. To confirm t he select ion, select ENTER.
4. Select Menu > Configuration > Backlight Preferences > Status LED.
5. Select t he appropriate sett ing for st at us LED.
6. To confirm t he select ion, select ENTER.
Setting the hot key
To direct ly call out a funct ion wit hout going t hrough t he layers of t he on- screen display ( OSD)
m enus, select a specific funct ion for a hot key. To access t his funct ion, select HOT KEY on t he
rem ot e cont rol.
1. Select Menu > Configuration > Hot-Key Settings.
2. Select t he one function for t he hot key:
• Size Preset s
• Pict ure Set tings
• Default Value
• Detail
• Cont rast Enhancem ent
• Light Source Mode
• Image Freeze
• I nform ation
• Disable Warp/ Blend
When t he hot key is set t o Disable Warp/ Blend, select ing the hot key once disables t he current ly
applied warp and blend. Selecting t he hot key again enables the function and r et urns t he warp and
blend to t he screen.
