Troubleshooting
First, try out the following procedures (P323 to P331).
The sound is caused by the In-Body Image Stabilizer. This is not a malfunction.
When the ambient temperature is high or continuous recording is performed, the camera’s
temperature will rise. After [ ] is displayed, recording may stop or the functions below may be
temporarily disabled to protect the camera. Wait until the camera cools down.

The battery is exhausted. Charge the battery. (P21)
[Economy] is enabled. (P223)
When [6K/4K Pre-Burst] or [Pre-Burst Recording] is set, the battery drains faster.
> Use these functions only when recording with them.
Is a Wi-Fi connection being used for a long period of time?
The battery can become flat quickly when connected to Wi-Fi.
> Turn the camera off frequently by using the [Economy] etc.

If the problem is not resolved, it may be improved by selecting [Reset] (P231) on
the [Setup] menu.
When I shake the camera, I hear a rattling sound from the camera.
Recording stops before finishing. Cannot record. Cannot use some functions.
Battery and power source
The camera cannot be operated even when it is turned on.
The camera turns off immediately after it is turned on.
This unit is turned off automatically.
The battery becomes flat too quickly.
