Switching off the alarm

trol, if needed, through emergency detec‐
tion of the remote control, refer to page 63.
▷ With Comfort Access: if you are carrying
the remote control on your person, grasp
the driver side or front passenger side door
handle completely.

Functional requirements
The windows can be operated under the fol‐
lowing conditions.
▷ Standby state is established.
▷ Drive-ready state is established.
▷ The remote control is in the car's interior.
Opening
▷ Press the switch to the resistance
point.
The window opens while the switch is be‐
ing held.
▷ Press the switch beyond the resist‐
ance point.
The window opens automatically. Pressing
the switch again stops the motion.

fer to page 61.
Closing
▷ Pull the switch to the resistance
point.
The window closes while the switch is be‐
ing held.
▷ Pull the switch beyond the resistance
point.
The window closes automatically if the
door is closed. Pulling again stops the mo‐
tion.

Jam protection system
General information
If closing force exceeds a specific threshold as
a window closes, closing is interrupted.
The window opens slightly.
Safety information
WARNING
Accessories on the windows such as an‐
tennas can impact jam protection. There is a
risk of injury. Do not install accessories in the
area of movement of the windows.◀
