Όταν η πλάκα ψησίματος κατά την εναπόθεση είναι όσο το
δυνατόν πιο καυτή, ο πάτος της πίτσας γίνεται τραγανός.
Αποφεύγετε κατά την κάλυψη πίτας Αλσατίας ή σπιτικής
πίτσας, να ρυπάνουν τα υπολείμματα της κάλυψης την πλάκα
ψησίματος.

Με καλή φροντίδα και προσεκτικό καθαρισμό, διατηρεί η
πλάκα ψησίματος για πολύ χρόνο την ωραία της εμφάνιση και
τη λειτουργικότητά της. Προσέξτε παρακαλώ τις ακόλουθες
υποδείξεις.
Απομακρύνετε την πλάκα ψησίματος, όταν φούρνος έχει
κρυώσει εντελώς.
Για τον καθαρισμό της πλάκας ψησίματος χρησιμοποιείτε
διάλυμα απορρυπαντικού πιάτων και ένα απορροφητικό πανί
ή σφουγγάρι, για σκληρή ρύπανση χρησιμοποιείτε ανοξείδωτο
σύρμα κουζίνας.
Όταν ο φούρνος σας είναι εξοπλισμένος με έναν αυτόματο
αυτοκαθαρισμό (πυρόλυση), μπορείτε να καθαρίσετε μαζί
την πλάκα ψησίματος πάνω σε ένα καθαρό ταψί στο ύψος 2.
Επιλέξτε την ισχυρότερη βαθμίδα καθαρισμού.
Καθαρίστε το φτυάρι του φούρνου με ένα μαλακό απορροφητικό
πανί ή σφουγγάρι και διάλυμα απορρυπαντικού πιάτων. Αφήστε
το φτυάρι να στεγνώσει.

The baking stone can become very hot. Always use oven gloves
to remove it from the oven. Only ever put it down onto heat-
resistant surfaces.

The baking stone is heavy. Grasp it rmly with both hands.


never place the baking stone directly onto
the oor of the oven. Heat will accumulate, and the oven will be
damaged.
Do not place the baking stone onto a glass surface
or so that it comes into contact with the oven door. You may
scratch the surface.
The baking stone cools down rapidly once food is
placed onto it. If you want to bake several pizzas in succession,
for example, you must heat the baking stone up again for at
least 10 minutes after each pizza. Otherwise, the baking stone
may become cracked.
 Leave the baking stone in the oven to cool off
before cleaning it. If you place the hot baking stone into cold
water or place it down onto a wet cloth, it may cause great
stress to the material. The baking stone may shatter.

With the baking stone, home-made bread and bread rolls become
a simple treat – with reliably good results. And savoury snacks
such as tartes ambées, quiches, and pizzas, both fresh and
frozen, will get a crispy base, almost as if they‘d been baked in a
brick oven.
The hot baking stone transfers the high temperatures very quickly
to the food, allowing the characteristic crispy crust to form. The
pores on the surface close up swiftly so the baked items remain
very light and moist on the inside.


1. Slide the wire rack into the oven at level 2 or into the compact
oven at level 1.
2. Place the baking stone onto the wire rack.
3. Set the top/bottom heating mode and the recommended
temperature for your baked item.
4. Heat up the baking stone for at least 30 minutes.

Use the our-covered bread paddle to place the baked item on
the heated-up baking stone.
Also observe the setting instructions in the instruction manual for
your oven.
If cooking frozen foods, adhere to the manufacturer‘s instructions
for top/bottom heating.
Take the nished baked item out of the oven using the bread
paddle.

The pizza base will become crispier if the baking stone is as hot
as possible when the pizza is placed onto it.
When putting toppings on a tarte ambée or home-made pizza,
try to ensure that the topping does not spill over onto the baking
stone and spoil the surface.

With good care and cleaning, your baking stone will retain its
appearance and remain fully functioning for a long time to come.
Please bear in mind the following points.
Only take your baking stone out once the oven has cooled
down fully.
To clean your baking stone, use detergent solution and a
sponge cloth. Stainless steel coils can be used for stubborn
stains.
If your oven is equipped with an automatic self-cleaning
function (pyrolytic self-clean), you can clean the baking stone
at the same time by putting it on a clean baking tray on level 2.
Select the highest cleaning setting.
Clean the bread paddle with a soft sponge cloth and detergent
solution. Set out the paddle to dry.
