Control panel
First,lockthe control par]el andthe door to prevent accidental operations and/or product tipping.
1. Pressand hold the OFF/CLEARbutton for 3 secondsto lock both the control par]el andthe door.
2. Clear]the control par]elusing a soft,wet cloth orglasscleanserin warm, soapywater.
3. When done, pressand holdthe OFF/CLEARbutton againfor 3 seconds.
A WARNING
Make surethe control par]elturns off and all surfacesof the gasover] arecool before
cleaning. Otherwise,you car]get burned.
Ifthe gas over] has beer]moved awayfrom the wall, makesurethe anti4ip device is
reinstalledproperly when the gas over] has beer]put into placeagain.Otherwise,the gas
over] maytip over,causing physicalinjuries.
Do not use steel-wool or abrasivecleansersof any kind.Thesecar]scratchor damagethe
surface.
Stainless steel surface
1. Removeany spills,spots,andgreasestainsusinga soft, wet cloth.
2. Apply an approved stair]lesssteelcleanserto a cloth or papertowel.
3. Clear]one smallareaat atime, rubbing with the grain of the stair]lesssteel ifapplicable.
4. When done, dry the surfaceusing a soft,dry cloth.
5. Repeatsteps2 through 4 asmanytimes as necessary.
A CAUTION
Do not use asteel-wool pad or abrasivecleanseror] stair]lesssteel surfaces.It will scratch
the surface.
Do not sprayany type of cleanserinto the manifold holes.Theignition systemis located in
those holesand must be keptfree of moisture.
Racks
To keepthe racksclear],removethem from the cavity,and soakthem in lukewarmsoapywater.
Then,scourimpurities offofthe racksusinga plasticscouring pad. Ifthe racksdo not slide in and out
smoothly afteryou havecleaned them, rub the side railguides with wax paper or acloth cor]tair]inga
few drops of cooking oil.This will help the racksglide moreeasilyor] their tracks.
