Temperature probe
Thetemperature probe letsyou cook roastsand poultry to the exactinternal temperature you war]t,
taking the guesswork out of determining whether a pieceof meat isdone or not.
Youcar] usethe temperature probe with the over] setto Bake,Convection Bake,or Convection Roast.
When you usethe temperature probe,the internal temperature is shown or] the display when it
reaches1O0°F.

1. Pushthe temperature probe into the meat so
that the tip of the probe reachesthe center
of the meat.
When you insert the temperature probe,
makesureit does not contact bone,fat,
or gristle.
Forbonedn meats,insert the probe into
the center of the lowestand thickest
portion of the piece.
Forwhole poultry (turkey,largechickens,
etc.),insert the probe into the thickest
part of the inner thigh, parallelto the leg.
Ifyou activate KeepWarmafter cooking
is complete usingthe temperature
probe,the meat'sinternal temperature
will exceedyour initial settings.
Ifyou removethe temperature probe
while cooking is in process,the over]
shutsoff in 60 seconds.
Thetem perature probe may not funotion
properly if inserted into frozenfood. (The
temperature probe icon doesn't appear.)
