• Parameter initialization PARRM° INI
Use this fealure 1o initialize the paramelers for each sound
field program within a sound field program group. When
you initialize a sound field program group, all of the
parameter values within that group revert to their initial
settings.
MANUAL SETUP > OPTION MENU > PARAM. INI >
Press the corresponding numeric button for the sound field
program that you want to initialize.
An aslerisk (*) next to a program number means that the
parameter values have been changed from their initial
settings.

• You cannot automatically revert to the previous parameter
settings once you initialize a sound field program group.
• You cannot separately initialize individual sound field
programs.
• You cannot initialize any program groups when MEMORY
GUARD is set to ON.

Use this feature to select the location of the front speakers
connected to the SPEAKERS B terminals.
Choices: FRONT, ZONE B
• Select FRONT to turn on!off SPEAKERS A and B
when the speakers connected to the SPEAKERS B
lerminals are set in the main room.
• Select ZONE B if the speakers connecled to the
SPEAKERS B terminals are set in another room. If
SPEAKERS A is turned OFF and SPEAKERS B is
turned ON, all the speakers including the subwoofer in
the main room are muted and the unit outputs sound
from SPEAKERS B only.
• If you connect headphones to the PHONES jack on the unit, the
sound is output fi'om bmh headphones and SPEAKERS B.
• When a DSP program is selected, the unit automatically enters
the Virtual Cinema DSP mode.

Use to select how the volume control will operate with
regard m the ZONE 2 OUTPUT jacks.
Choices: VAN., FIX
• Select VAR. to adjust the ZONE 2 OUTPUT volume
simultaneously with VOL -/+ on the remote control.
• Select FIX to fix the ZONE 2 OUTPUT volume level

Zone2 amplifier ZONE2 RMP
Use to select how the ZONE 2 speakers will be amplified,
Choices: ON, OFF.
• Select OFF if you do not use Zone 2 speakers or if you
connect your Zone 2 speakers through an exlernal
amplifiers connected to this unit's ZONE 2 OUTPUT
jacks.
• Select ON to use this unit's inlernal amplifier if you
connect your Zone 2 speakers directly to this unit's
PRESENCE/ZONE 2 speaker terminals.
