1 Warnings
1.1 General safety instructions
Risk of personal injury
• This appliance may be used by
children aged 8 years and over
and by people of reduced
physical, sensory or mental
capacity, or lacking in experience
in the use of electrical appliances,
provided that they are supervised
or instructed by adults who are
responsible for their safety.
• Children must not be allowed to
play with the appliance.
• Keep children under the age of 8
at a safe distance unless they are
constantly supervised.
• Keep children under the age of 8
away from the appliance when it
is in operation.
• Cleaning and maintenance must
not be carried out by unsupervised
children.
• Never attempt to put out a fire or
flames with water: switch off the
appliance, remove the plug from
the power outlet and smother the
flames with a lid or fire blanket.
• Do not use the appliance if the
glass lid is damaged (cracked,
chipped, scratched).
• Do not leave the appliance
unattended while it is in operation.
• Do not use the appliance with wet
hands or if you are in contact with
water.
• Do not touch the sealing bar or the
seal immediately after sealing.
• Do not touch or modify the
electrical or mechanical
components of the appliance.
• Do not open the casing of the
drawer.
• Switch off the appliance after use.
