4X
Zooming Images in and out
This mode allows you to enlarge your image on the selected portion of the image with 4X magnification to check for
small details.
Turn the mode dial to the [ ] mode with the
camera powered on.
Select the image that you want to view by using the
[ / ] button.
Enlarge the image by pressing the Telephoto button.
Pressing the Telephoto button once magnifies the image to 2X. Pressing
it again magnifies the image to 4X.
When enlarging the recorded image, you will see a red frame with a
red box inside. The red frame indicates the entire image, while the red
box shows the enlarged area.
To view the different portion of the enlarged image,
press the [
/ / / ] button.
To return to the regular display from 4X-enlarged status, press the Wide-angle
button twice.
NOTE
• The zoom in function magnifies the image from 1X ➔ 2X ➔ 4X.
• The zoom out function reduces the image from 4X ➔ 2X ➔ 1X.
