3. In addition, pushing the button on the
door handle (the engraved part) while
keeping the smart key will lock all
doors.

To lock your vehicle using the door han
-
dle touch sensor or the smart key:
1. Make sure all doors, the hood and the
liftgate are closed.
2. Press the door lock button (1) on the
smart key. The hazard warning lights
will blink with an alarm, and the han
-
dles will retract back.
3. In addition, touching the touch sensor
on the door handle (the engraved
part) while keeping the smart key will
lock all doors and let the door handle
to retract back.
WARNING
Do not leave the smart key in your vehi
-
cle with unsupervised children. Unat
-
tended children could press the EV
button and may operate power windows
or other controls, or even make the vehi
-
cle move, which could result in serious
injury or death.
NOTICE
僅 The outside rearview mirrors will fold
if
Enable on Door Unlock
is selected
from the Settings menu in the info
-
tainment system screen.

僅 The door handle touch sensor will
only operate when the smart key is
within 28~40 inches (0.7~1 m) from
the outside door handle.
僅 Touching the door handle touch sen

sor does not unlock the doors. To
unlock the doors, refer to the follow

ing page.
僅 Note that you cannot lock your vehi

cle using the door handle touch sen

sor if any of the following occur:
- The smart key is in the vehicle.
- The EV button is in ACC or ON posi

tion.
- Any of the doors are open except
for the liftgate.

僅 To fold/unfold the outside rearview
mirrors simultaneously when the door
is locked/unlocked, select

→
Welcome Mirror
→
Enable on Door
Unlock
in the infotainment system
screen.
僅 The door handle button will only oper

ate when the smart key is within
