Driving Your Vehicle
Active noise control-road helps reduce
noise caused while driving.
The system may not operate properly in
the following conditions:
ś Any of the window is open
ś Any of the door is open
ś The liftgate is open
ś Vehicle’s microphone and speaker is
blocked by loads

When Active noise control-road is not
working properly, this warning message
will appear on the cluster display. Have
the system inspected by an authorized
retailer of Genesis Branded products.
ś Active Sound Design provides various
virtual driving sounds based on the
driving mode, vehicle speed, and
accelerator pedal. You can adjust
the volume and change the settings
for acceleration pedal response and
sound style.
ś To change settings or turn off
the Active Sound Design in the
infotainment system, select:
- Setup > Vehicle > Active Sound
Design, or Setup > Sound > Active
Sound Design
ś When Advanced Settings is selected,
you can set a sound for your electric
vehicle:
- Futuristic: Futuristic driving sound
- G-Engine: Engine sound
- E-Motor: Added motor sound
ś The volume of the Active Sound
Design is adjusted according to the
drive mode (Eco, Comfort, Sport)
selected or Boost mode.
ś Any unauthorized replacement of
the vehicle’s speaker and amplifier
may cause Active Sound Design to
malfunction.

The infotainment system may change
after software updates. For more
information, refer to the user's manual
provided in the infotainment system and
the quick reference guide.
