7. When the engine starts, immediately release the
ignition key to the ON position, to prevent damage
to the starter.

CAUTION: Do not run the starter for
more than 6 seconds at a time. If the
engine does not start, wait 15 seconds
before you try again.
8. Let the engine run at ½ throttle for 3-5 minutes
before you apply a heavy load.
9. Push the throttle control to full throttle position.
CAUTION: To engage the blades when
the engine is at full speed causes strain on
the drive belts and the clutch. Do not apply
full throttle until the cutting deck is lowered
to the mow position.
To operate the product
1. Start the engine.
2. Release the parking brake.
3. Carefully push down one of the pedals. The speed
increases the more the pedal is pushed down. Use
pedal (A) to move forward, and pedal (B) to move in
reverse.

4. Release the pedal to brake. To brake harder, push
down the other speed pedal.
5. Pull the PTO button to engage the operation of the
blades on the cutting deck.
To set the forward pedal positions (P 525DX,
P525DX Cabin)
The forward pedal can be set to transport speed or
working speed using the lock lever.
1. Move the lock lever from position (A) to position (B)
to set the pedal to working speed.

2. Lift the pedal until the lock lever moves into position
(A) to set the pedal to transport speed.
To adjust the ground pressure of the
hydraulic lift arms
The hydraulic lift arms has a lift spring that helps to
increase or decrease the ground pressure from the pivot
wheel on the cutting deck.

2. Apply the parking brake.
