2. Move the lift lever to transport position to lift the
cutting deck.
Note: You can lift the cutting deck a small distance
with the drive on the blades engaged. Use this
function for very long grass or rough surfaces.
WARNING: Lifting the cutting deck
while the drive is engaged can throw
objects and cause serious injury or
death.
To lower the cutting deck to the mow
position
1. Move the lift lever for hydraulic lift forward to lower
the cutting deck to the mow position (A).

2. Pull the PTO button to engage the drive on the
cutting deck blades.
To start the engine
1. Push down and turn the main switch to the ON
position.
2. Apply the parking brake.
3. Push the PTO button to disengage the operation of
the cutting deck.
4. Move the throttle control to the middle position.
5. Turn the ignition key to the ON position. Wait for the
display lights to come on.
6. Turn the ignition key to the arrow position. Hold it in
this position until the engine starts.
