Temperature reduction
At high altitudes water has a lower
boiling point. Miele recommends
activating the reduced temperature
setting at altitudes of 2000m or above
to prevent water from boiling.

 Maximum rinse level
The water level in the rinses can be
permanently set to the highest value in
the Cottons and Minimum iron
programmes.
This function is important for allergy
sufferers as it achieves excellent rinse
results. The water consumption will be
increased.

 Suds cooling
Additional water flows into the drum at
the end of the main wash to cool the
suds down. Hot suds can damage
plastic drainage pipes.
Suds cooling takes place when a
Cottons programme with a temperature
of 70°C or higher is selected.
Suds cooling should be activated:
- to prevent the danger of scalding if
the drain hose is hooked over the
edge of a sink or laundry tub.
- where the drainage pipes are rated
less than 70°C.

 Low water pressure
If the water pressure is below 100kPa
(1bar), the washer-dryer will stop the
programme and a water intake fault
message will appear in the display. If
the on-site water pressure cannot be
increased, activating this setting will
prevent the programme from being
cancelled.
