Items Normally soiled cotton garments.
Notes - A laundry load consisting of mixed cottons that are intended for
washing at 40°C or 60°C can be washed in the same wash cycle.
- This programme is the most efficient in terms of energy and water
consumption for washing cottons.
Energy labelling programme according to AS/NZS 2040.1 & AS/NZS 2040.2
(refer to www.energyrating.gov.au website for consumption data), with default
settings (i.e. temperature selection 40°C).
Cottons Cold to 90°C Max. load 8.0kg
Items Cottons, linens or cotton mix fabrics, e.g. table linen, towelling,
underwear, T-shirts etc.
Notes - Select the temperature according to the instructions on the care
label, the detergent, the type of soiling and the hygiene
requirements.
- For dark-coloured fabric, use a colour detergent.
Minimum iron Cold to 60°C Max. load 3.5kg
Items Synthetic, mixed fibre and easy care cotton.
Notes Reduce the spin speed for items which crease easily.
Delicates Cold to 40°C Max. load 2.0kg
Items Delicate garments made from synthetic fibre, mixed fibre, rayon and
viscose.
Notes For items which crease easily, deselect the spin.
Woollens Cold to 40°C Max. load 2.0 kg
Items Machine-washable or hand-washable wool or wool blend fabric. If
the care label does not specify a temperature, wash using the cold
setting.
Notes Reduce the spin speed for fabrics that crease easily.
