Burner Gratesand Vent Grille
Porcelain enamel burner grates and tile
vent grille should be washed regularly
and, of coulee, aRer spillovers.
The grates may be washed either ill tile
dishw_ksher or you may wash tbenl ill bet
soapy water and rinse with clean wami:
You may Mso use abrasive cleaners and
scouiJng pads to clean burner grates and
the vent grille. Dry the grams and grille
with a cloth--don't put them back on
tile cooktop wet.
To get ridof burned-on fbod, place die
grams and giille ill a covered conmineL
Add 1/4 cup (59 mL) ammonia and let
thenl soak severn hours or overniglK.

Although they're durable, file gqates
and gIille will graduMly lose their shine,
regardless of the best care you call give
them. This is due to their continual
exposure to high temperatures.
Do not operate a burner for all extended
period of time without cookware on tile
gnate. Tile finish on tile grate may chip
without cookware to absorb tile beat.
M_er cleaning, replace file center vent
g_ille first. Replace file side grates so that
tile cenmr exmnsions are oriented toward
tile cenmr of tile cooktop. Tlle rear
center exmnsions should sligh@ overlap
the vent grille. Make sure tile gIates are
positioned securely over tile burners and
that they are stable and level.
Rubber Grate Feet
For stability, your cooktop h_Ls rubber
feet on the burner glares. If any of these
robber feet should become damaged or
lost, replace them immediamly.

Storage Orawer Removal
Toremove the drawer:
[_] Pull the drawer out tmdl it stops.
[_] Lift tile front of tlle drawer until tile
stops clear the guides.
[_] Remove tile draweI:
Toreplacethe drawer:
[77 Place tile drawer rails on tile guides.
_] Push tile drawer back tmfil it stops.
[_ Lif_ tile front of the drawer and
push back tmfil tile stops clear tile
guides.
[_ Lower the flont of tile drawer and
push back until it closes.
ovenrack Oven Racks
All oven lacks may be cleaned I)5, band
with all abrasive cleaner or smel wool.
After cleaning, rinse tile racks with clean
wamr and &Y with a clean cloth. Gray
porcelain-coated oven racks m W remain
ill tile oven during tile selffcleaning
cycle without being daumged. The shiny,
silver-colored oven racks may remain ill
the oven during the self:cleaning cycle,
but they will lose their lusmr and become
hard to slide.
