Using the surface units.

Always place the pan in the center of
the surface unit you are cooking on.
For Models With a Glass Cooktop
The glass cooktop features heating units
beneath a smooth glass surface.
NOTE:Aslight odor is normal when a new
cooktop is used for the first time. It is caused
by the heating of new parts and insulating
materials and will disappear in a short time.
The surface unit may cycle on and off to
maintain your selected control setting.
It is safe to place hot cookware on the glass
surface even when the cooktop is cool.
Avoid placing anything on the surface unit until
it has cooled completely.
Water stains (mineral deposits) are
removable using the cleaning cream or full-
strength white vinegar.
Useof window cleaner may leave an
iridescent film on the cooktop. The cleaning
cream will remove this film.
Do not slide cookware across the cooktop because
it can scratch the glass-the glassis scratch-resistant,
not scratchproof.
Don't store heavy items above the cooktop.
Ifthey drop onto the cooktop, they can
cause damage.
Do not use the surface as a cutting board.
Use flat-bottomed pans.
Use a griddle.

Use a flat-bottomed wok.
What Type of Pans Are Required?
You must use a ferrous pun when using the
induction coils on this range. The warming
zone is not an induction coil and will work with
any type of cookware. You can verify your
pan is ferrous if u magnet sticks to it. q)uality
cookwure with heavy bottoms made of cast
iron, magnetic stainless steeland enameled
steelwork best. For best results, use puns
with flat bottoms. Woks that do not have flat
bottoms in close contact to the glass surface
will not work. Some pans are made especially
for induction cooking.
Placeonly dry pans on the surface elements.
Do not place lids on the surface elements,
particularly wet lids.Wet pans and lids may
stick to the surface when cool.
