• Sew in a Zipper
Fabric Preparation:
Put the right sides ot the fabric together
and sew to the end of the zipper opening.
Use the reverse to lock the stitches.
Sew the zipper opening with stitch length
at "'4 '" and top thread tension at "'3 ""
• Pose desfermetures _ glissi_re
Preparez votre tissu:
Mettez te tissu endrott sur endrott et
cousez jusqu' au bout de l'ouverture.
Piquez en arri#re pour arr#ter la couture.
R#gtez la fongueur du po#_t a "4" et ta
lettsion a "3".

To Sew:
1. Fold back the left seam allowance as
shown.
2. Turn under the right seam allowance
to torm a 1/8" fold.
3. Place the zipper teeth next to the 1/8 "°
lold and pin in place.
Mise en place:
1. Rabattez la ressouree de couture
gauche, comnte montrd.
2. Repliez dessous la ressource droite,
formez un pli de 1/8"
3. Placez tes mailles de ta fermeture
centre le pli de 1t8" et b_tissez.
4. To sew the left side of the zipper, set
the zipper foot on the left side ot the
needie.
5. Lower the zipper toot on the right side
at the bottom of the zipper so that the
needle pierces the told and the zipper
tape.
6. Sew through the told and the zipper
tape to the point where the slider begins.
7. Lower the needle to hold the tabrlc
and raise the presser toot.

5, Abaissez le pied sttr l'endroit art bout
de la fermeture, pour que l'aiguilIe

6. Piquez dens te pli et la ganse, jusqu'_
proxtmtt# du eurseur de la fermeture.
7. Laissez l'atguiIle ptqude clans te tissu
et remontez le pied.
