The SmartKey is defective.

Check the battery using the battery check lamp and replace if necessary (→ page 60).

Use the emergency key to lock or unlock (→ page 60).
#
Have the SmartKey checked at a qualified specialist workshop.
You have lost a SmartKey.
#
Have the SmartKey deactivated at a qualified specialist workshop.
#
If necessary, have the mechanical lock changed as well.

Pull door handle 2.
Locking pin 1 pops up when the door is
unlocked.

Take the SmartKey with you when exiting the
vehicle and close the driver's door.
