Requirements:

You require a CR 2032 3 V cell battery.
Mercedes-Benz recommends that you have the
batter y replaced at a qualified specialist work‐
shop.
#
Remove the mechanical key (→ page 60).
#
Press release button 2 down fully and
remove cover 1.
#
Remove battery compartment 3 and take
out the discharged battery.
#
Insert the new battery into battery compart‐
ment 3. Observe the positive pole marking
in the battery compartment and on the bat‐
ter y.
#
Push in batter y compartment 3.
#
Replace cover 1 so that it engages.
