Changing a Thread Color
Initial Stitch by Pacesetter allows you to adjust the colors of the
lettering you create, by using the Color Palette; you do this by
choosing thread objects in the Color palette.
To change the thread color of a Text item:
1 Select the text item in the workspace, using either the Select tool or
one of the text tools.
2 In the Color Palette, click the color box with the thread color you
want to use.
Adding Frames to a Design
The Add Design tool allows you to embellish designs with extra
decorative embroidery. Use it to add Monogram frames to the design,
which can then be re-sized and arranged as needed.
To use the Add Designs tool:
1 In the Home tab of the Ribbon, click on the Add Design tool.
A dialog opens in front of the workspace, displaying thumbnails of
the Monogram Frames.
Note that the selection of new colors only applies to new segments that
you create within Pacesetter; you cannot change the color of a segment
if it has been imported into your design, for example using the Merge
Design feature.
If you hover over a color square on the Palette, the thread type
and number will show beside the mouse pointer.
