To adjust the height in the front:
To lower the attachment point,
squeeze control

and slide it
downwards.
To raise the attachment point,
slide control
1
upwards.
Fastening the seat belts
Pull the strap, then insert the
buckle into the stalk.
Check that the seat belt is faste-
ned by pulling the strap.
Unfastening the seat belts
When the ignition is switched on, the
warning light comes on if the driver
and/or the front passenger has not
fastened his seat belt.
for children or people of a short
stature, pass the seat belt under
the strap guide

for other passengers, pass the
seat belt over the strap guide.
This strap guide prevents the seat
belt from passing over the neck of
these passengers.

seat belts
The front seats are fitted with pre-
tensioners and force limiters while
the rear seats have force limiters
only.
Seat belt unfastened/not fastened
warning light
Press the red button on the stalk
then remove the buckle.
With the engine running and the
doors closed, the light switches off
automatically after 30 seconds.
If a front seat belt is unfastened:
- below 12 mph (20 km/h), the light
comes on constantly,
- above 12 mph (20 km/h) and for
two minutes, the warning light
flashes accompanied by an audible
signal of increasing volume. Once
these two minutes have elapsed,
the warning light remains on until
the driver and/or the front passen-
ger fastens his seat belt.
