10.12 WebSocket(s)

WebSocket or WebSockets protocol should be enabled if you use Google Chrome 57 and its above

version or Mozilla Firefox 52 and its above version to visit the device. Otherwise, live view, image

capture, digital zoom, etc. cannot be used.

Go to

Conguraon → Network → Network Service → WebSocket(s) to set parameters, and click

Save.

TCP acceleraon is used to improve latency and reduce packet loss caused by network congeson

in poor network condion, and guarantee the uency of live view.

Trac shaping is used to shape and smooth video data packet before transmission.

It helps to improve latency and reduce packet loss caused by network

congeson and ensure the

video quality as well. Shaping level is congurable.

10.15 Set OTAP

The device can be accessed to the maintenance plaorm via OTAP protocol, in order to search and

acquire device

informaon, upload device status and alarm informaon, reboot and update the

device.

Steps

Go to Conguraon → Network → Plaorm Access → OTAP to enable the funcon.

Set related parameters.

Click Test to check if the device connects to server.

Click Save.

funcon is correctly set.
