12 - SWELL PEDAL
TYPE
This setting configures a pedal attached to the ORGAN SWELL jack. See
“Ctrl Pedal Type” above for details.
Range: Roland EV7 (default), Yamaha FC-7, Korg, Fatar (and
Studiologic)
FUNC (FUNCTION)
This setting configure the Swell Pedal destination. Set this to Swell if you
want this pedal to act as a Swell pedal for the organ, or to Volume if it
should control the volume of all the Nord Stage 3 sound engines.
Range: Swell (Default), Volume
GAIN
This setting allows you to add some gain to the output of the pedal. This
can be used if an attached pedal does not reach the maximum level or
setting.
Range: 1 - 10
13 - CLEAR SYN PRESET NAME
The Clear Stored Program’s Synth Preset Name function removes any
preset name stored in the currently selected program. The display will
now simply display the name of the selected Synth waveform instead.
This is useful in instances where the Synth sound stored in a program
was initially based on a preset, but has been edited to a point where the
preset name no longer makes sense.
Press Ok (Program 4 button) to clear the Synth Preset name
14 - VERSION AND MODEL INFO
The Version and model info menu page shows the full version number
of the currently installed OS (Operating System) and, when turning the
Program dial, the full model name of the instrument.
Use the Program dial to switch between Version and Model info
SOUND MENU
Hold SHIFT and press SOUND (Program 2) to access the Sound menu.
Use the PAGE 3 and 4 buttons to navigate between the various
menu items on the Sound menu. The PROGRAM dial is used to change
settings, and soft buttons to access additional settings (as described
above), where applicable. Press EXIT (Shift) to leave the menu.
1 - PIANO PEDAL NOISE LEVEL
Sets the level of the Pedal Noise that can be turned on for selected
pianos, if a Nord Triple Pedal is connected to the Stage 3.
Range: +/- 6 dB (0 dB default)
2 - PIANO STRING RES LEVEL
Sets the level of the String Resonance feature that can be turned on for
selected pianos (acoustic Med, Lrg and XL sizes).
Range: +/- 6 dB (0 dB default)
3 - SYNTH VIBRATO
RATE
This setting determines the rate of the Synth Vibrato.
Range: 4.00 - 8.00 Hz (Default 6.00 Hz)
AMNT (AMOUNT)
This determines the amount of Synth Vibrato when one of the vibrato
delay modes are used.
Range: 0-50 cent (Default value is 25 cent)
4 - SYNTH PITCH STICK RANGE
Use this menu option to set the pitch bend range for the Synth section,
on a per-program basis. The range is set in semitone steps, and can
also be set by pressing Shift+Pstick in the Synth section and selecting a
value from the displayed list.
Range: ±1, ±2, ±3, ±4, ±5, ±7, ±10, ±12, +2/-12, +2/-24
M A Store operation needs to be performed for the value to be saved
with the program.
5 - B3 ORGAN TONEWHEEL MODE
Sets the level of tonewheel crosstalk and cable leakage artifacts of the
B3 organ model.
Range: Clean, Vintage 1 (default), Vintage 2
6 - B3 ORGAN CLICK LEVEL
This sets the level of the Key Click for the B3 organ model.
Range: Low, Normal (default), High
7 - B3 ORGAN KEYBOARD TRIGGER POINT
This setting allows you to change how the Nord Stage 3 keyboard
triggers the B3 sound. When “High” is selected, it will be triggered
before the key is fully depressed, which is more similar to how a real B3
functions.
Range: High, Low (Default)
8 - ROTARY SPEAKER
There are two available settings for the 122 Rotary speaker. For the 122
setting the microphones are placed traditionally – a bit away from the
speaker. With 122 Close selected the microphones are placed closer to
the cabinet.
Range: 122 (Default), 122 Close
9 - ROTARY BALANCE
This parameter sets the balance between the bass rotor and treble horn,
defined as a percentage.
Range: 70/30, 60/40, 50/50 (default), 40/60 and 30/70
10 - ROTARY ROTOR
SPD (SPEED)
This determines the speed of the rotary speaker woofer rotor.
Range: Low, Normal (default), High
