During cutting to length, ensure that the
guide bar / saw chain is not jammed.
Apply the chain saw at the spiked
bumper.
Evenly saw through the stem.
ATTENTION
Risk of damage to the saw chain! Do not
saw into the soil.

drawing or recoil of the chain saw! When
cutting into length, plan the cut and work
with relief cuts. Always observe the order
"pressure side first then tension side".

Saw the relief cut on the pressure side.
Saw the separating cut on the tension
side.
Remove the battery from the device.
Free the chain saw from chips and soil-
ing.
Attach saw chain guard.
Read and comply with the operating in-
structions 5.966-814.0 and 5.966-815.0 for
handling the battery and the charger.
