TheType 1connectionsystemhas the followingfeatures:
1.The systemwill not allow gas to flowuntil a positiveconnectionhas
beenmade.
NOTE:The cylindercontrolvalvemustbe turnedoff beforeany
connectionis madeor removed.
2.The system has a thermalelementthatwill shut offthe flowof gasin
the eventof a fire.
3. The systemhas a flow limitingdevicewhich,whenactivated,will
limitthe flow of gas to 10 cubicfeet per hour.
4. NEVERuse grill without leak testing this connection.

suppliedwiththe appliancemustbe used. Do notuse anotherhose

pressureregulatorand hoseassemblyprovidedis factorysetat an
