Push2TV Wireless Display Adapter PTV3000
TV Display Shows a Different Image Than the Laptop
If both the application and the TV screen show that you are connected, but they are not
showing the same image, the laptop’s firewall might be stopping the connection. For more
information, see Resolve Firewall Issues on page 40.
Adjust the Size of the TV Display in the Intel WiDi Setting
If the TV display shows areas of black around the edges or appears too large, you can adjust
the Intel WiDi setting for your TV. For more information, see Modify the Intel WiDi Adapter
Properties on page 24 (look for Step 7).
The TV Screen Is Blank After the TV Is Connected
When you use a laptop and a TV, sometimes the laptop’s display settings might be
inadvertently changed. This might result in the TV showing a blank screen after it is
connected. The TV screen might also be blank if the Push2TV adapter is too warm after
being used for a long time. (The Push2TV adapter is not designed to be connected for more
than 4 hours.) If this situation occurs, do not use the Push2TV adapter until it has cooled
down.
