Possible cause Solution
▪ The appliance door was
open for too long.
▪ After the power was dis-
connected, microwave was
selected without the appli-
ance door being opened
and closed beforehand.
▸ Fully open and close the appliance door.
– The correct function of the door lock is
checked.

Residual heat
Do not remove the water tank.
Possible cause Solution
▪ Water temperature in the
boiler is too high.
▸ Wait for it to cool down (this can take up to
30minutes).
For safety reasons, water is only pumped off
when it falls below a certain temperature.

Descaling failed.
Appliance has not been descaled.
Possible cause Solution
▪ Used unsuitable descaler.
▸ Descale again using the recommended de-
scaler.
▪ Descaling was not carried
out correctly.
▸ If the message does not disappear after re-
peating the descaling process several times,
note down the error message in full and the
serial number (FN; see identification plate).
▸ Call Customer Services.
