The Camcorder’s Wi-Fi Functions
• The connect station will emit a beep sound. When the Wi-Fi con-
nection is correctly established, the transfer of files will start auto-
matically.

Sharing Recordings with CANON iMAGE
GATEWAY
After you register for CANON iMAGE GATEWAY*, you will be able to
access various Web services**. You will be able to upload movies and
photos to online albums, upload movies to Facebook and YouTube,
send links to your online albums by e-mail to friends and family, and
more! To use this function, you will need an access point connected to
the Internet.
* Availability differs from area to area.
** “Web services” is used in this text to refer to various Internet services sup-
ported by CANON iMAGE GATEWAY.
• Saving a scene that is about 4 minutes long will take approxi-
mately 5 minutes. When saving a large number of files, the
operation may take some time.
•Be sure to always use the latest version of the connect sta-
tion’s firmware. Updating the firmware to the latest version
may correct known issues and add new functionality to the
connect station. For details about updating the firmware, refer
to the instruction manual of the CS100.
