Fuses and bulbs
Replace a blown fuse

Preparations
Switch off the ignition, lights and all electri-
cal equipment.
Open the corresponding fuse box
page 56,
page 56.
Recognise a blown fuse
A fuse is blown if its metal strip is ruptured
Fig. 51.
Point a lamp at the fuse to see if it has
blown.
To replace a fuse
Remove the fuse.
Replace the blown fuse by one with an
identical amperage rating (same colour and
markings) and identical size.
Replace the cover again or close the fuse
box lid.
Fuse placement
Only replace fuses with a fuse of the same
amper
age (same colour and markings) and
size.
