LEVELS - CONSULT THE CHAPTER “USER PRECAUTIONS”
Air filter
Follow the instructions given in the
Maintenance Guide.
If intervening under the bonnet when the engine is hot, even when the vehicle is stationary and the
ignition switched off, be aware that the cooling fan could operate at any time.
Check the engine oil level frequently between each routine service visit,
as well as before starting long journeys.
Engine coolant
The coolant level should
be between the MIN. and
MAX. marks on the expan-
sion chamber.
If the engine is hot, wait 15 minutes
for it to cool down.

Never intervene on the cooling
system of an engine that is hot
(See «Levels»).
12V battery

Engine oil
Check the oil level with the
vehicle parked on horizon-
tal ground, with the engine
having been switched off for at
least 15 minutes.

Brake fluid
The brake fluid level should
be between the MIN. and
MAX. marks on the reservoir

Should the warning lamp come on
while you are driving, stop imme-
diately and contact a CITROËN
dealer.
Pull out the manual dip-
stick.
The level should be be-
tween the MIN. and MAX.
marks on the gauge.
It must never exceed the
maximum.
Wash fluid for
windscreen, rear screen
and headlamps
Use only those products that are
approved by CITROËN.
