BAS Connection via Bluetooth
The MaxiBAS BT506 device needs to be either connected to a vehicle or to an available
power source, so that it is powered up during the synchronization procedure. Make sure
the tablet is fully charged or is connected to an external power supply.

To pair the BT506 series tester with the tablet
1. Press and hold the Power Button to turn on the MaxiSys Elite II. Ensure that
the unit is sufficiently charged before using.
2. Power on the MaxiBAS BT506. Connect the red clamp to the positive (+)
terminal and the black clamp to the negative (-) terminal of the battery.
3. Enable Bluetooth on the MaxiSys Elite II by tapping VCI Manager > BAS BT,
and the tablet automatically scans for an available tester for Bluetooth pairing.
The device name will appear as “Maxi” suffixed with a serial number.
4. Check the serial number of your BT506 series tester and select the desired
device on the tablet for pairing.
5. When paired successfully, the connection status will read as “Connected”.
6. To disconnect the device, tap the connected device again.
7. Tap Back on the top-left to return to the MaxiSys Job Menu.
