Screen reader settings
Screen reader settings help users who are blind or visually impaired to configure the
text-to-speech reader, enabling them to operate their TV more easily. The screen
reader uses voice prompts that speak volume and channel changes, menu options,
and setting changes. Access screen reader settings from the Home screen menu by
navigating to C*&&0(76-W-N,,*660;080&2, and then select from the following options in the
C,%**(-%*':*%-section:
! C,%**(-%*':*%Turn the screen reader on or off.
! C#**,.-%'&*Select one of four speeds at which to hear spoken guide
information: C8$K, )$%"'8, 9'6&, or =*%2-9'6&.
! =$83"*-Select the volume at which to hear spoken guide information, relative
to the main TV volume.
! C.$%&,3&-Enable or disable the shortcut feature. When enabled (the default),
pressing C<NA-! four times in quick succession enables or disables the screen
reader.
Customize the Home screen
If you prefer to not see certain features on the Home screen, you can hide them.
From the Home Screen menu, navigate to C*&&0(76-W-H$"*-6,%**(, and then press
A!?H<. Select either H0:* or C.$K for each of the following Home screen items:
