Oven Vent
Your oven is vented fllrough one vent
located toward file rear of the range. Do
not block this vent when cooking in the
oven--it is important that the flow of hot
air flom the oven and flesh air m the
oven burner be uninmrrupmd. Avoid
touching the vent openings or nearby

The oven or broiler c_mnot be lit during a
power failure. Gas will not flow unless the
glow bar is hot.
If file oven is in use when a power
failure occm5, file oven burner struts
off"and cannot be reqit until power is
restored. This is because the flow of gas IS
automatically stopped and will not resume
when power is restored until the glow bar
has reached operating mmperature.
