DIAGNOSTICS & TROUBLESHOOTING

NOTE: The Service Diagnosc Mode must be acvated before
performing the tests; see procedure on page 2-3.
: Turn o power or disconnect washer/dryer
before aaching test leads. Be sure test leads are aached
prior to component acvaon.
To check voltage measurements, the following steps must be
followed:
1. Unplug washer/dryer or disconnect power.
2. Connect voltage measurement equipment to appropriate
connectors.
3. Plug in washer/dryer or reconnect power and conrm
voltage reading.
4. Aer performing voltage measurements, unplug washer/
dryer or disconnect power

Voltage Measurement Safety Information
When performing live voltage measurements, you must do the following:
n Verify the controls are in the off position so that the appliance does not start when energized.
n Allow enough space to perform the voltage measurements without obstructions.
n Keep other people a safe distance away from the appliance to prevent potential injury.
n Always use the proper testing equipment.
n After voltage measurements, always disconnect power before servicing.

Replace all parts and panels before operating.
