INSPECTION PROCEDURE
Add oil if required
Check for leaks.
Tighten filler cap securely.
Add fuel as necessary.
DO NOT overfill (no fuel in the
filler neck).
DO NOT mix oil with gas.
Replace cap tightly.
Make sure all warning decals are
legible and securely attached.
Check tread condition.Tread must
have a minimum height of 1/8" at
center of tire. Prior to operating
vehicle, check and adjust tire
pressure to the proper operating
pressure as indicated on the
sidewall of each tire. A tire
pressure gauge is required to
obtain accurate readings.
ACTION

DO NOT refuel a hot engine. Allow engine to
ceol before adding fuel.
Replace as necessary. See MAINTENANCE-
Chassis and Steering-Decals.
Replace tires if tread height is less than
1/8" at center of tire. Add or remove air as
necessary to meet the pressure requirements
as stated on the sidewall of the tire. See
ASSEMBLY-Assembly Instructions-Tire
Pressure.
Drive Chain Check condition and tension. Lubricate, adjust tension as necessary. See
MAINTENANCE- Chains.
Throttle Replace damaged cable.
Check for smooth operation.
Make sure throttle"snaps" back
to idle.
Check for frayed cable or
damaged cable housing.
Check for mud, debris and ice in
the throttle cable and throttle
mechanism.
Check wheels to see that all axle
nuts and lug nuts are tightened
securely.
Fasteners
Check for missing fasteners.
Check that all other fasteners are
secure.
Check for a broken or missing
cotter pin at rear brake band
anchor point.

Clean out any mud and debris. If ice is
present, move the Fun-Kart to a warm place
to allow the ice to melt and the water to dry.
Tighten as necessary. See MAINTENANCE-
DRIVE COMPONENTS.
Replace as necessary.
Tighten as necessary. See MAINTENANCE-
LOCKNUTS.
Replace as necessary.
