First charge and charging after a long time
If the high-voltage battery is new or has
not been charged for a long time, the maxi-
mum charge level of the battery can only be
reached after several charging processes. This
is for technical reasons and is not a vehicle
malfunction.
If the vehicle is not used for a long period of
time, the high-voltage battery must be charged
at least once every four months.
Note
If you leave the charging cable connected
aft
er charging, the vehicle's electrical con-
sumers will not drain the high-voltage bat-
tery.
