damper,a two-speedexhaust
blowerand removablefilters.
Exhaustopeningsare locatedover
cooktngtopand in hoodoveroven.
Theexhaustsystemfunctionsonly
whenthe bloweris operating.The
switchfor the exhaustsystemis
beneaththe controlpanel.Forhigh
speed,push switchonce;forlow
speed,push switchtwice; andto
stopblower,pushswitchonce
in sequence.
Whenbloweris opezatingandhood
overovenisclosed,it exhaustsover
surfaceunitsonly.Whenblower
operateswithhoodin openposition,
it exhauststhroughopeningsover
surfaceunitsandoverovenatthe
sametime.

close,pushdownon handle.Use
hoodin itsfullyextendd position
whenevervaporor smokeresults

units.Seeinformationon useof
surfaceunits.

Twofaltersarelocatedovercooking
topandonebehindhoodextension.
Filtersare removablefor cleaning.
Filtersbecomesoiledovera period
oftime. Theefficiencyofyour
exhaustsystemdependson how
cleanthefiltersare. Frequencyof
cleaning,or replacing,dependson
thetypeofcookingyoudo,but
faltersshouldbe cleanedATLEAST
ONCEA MONTH.Also,frquently
cleanthegrease-ladensurfaces
adjacentto the filters.
Toclean, agitatein hotdetergent
solution.Lightbrushingmaybe
usedto helpremoveimbeddedsoil
anddust. Withcarefuluse and
handling,filterswilllastforyears.
However,if replacementbecomes
necessary,obtaina filterfrom
yourdealer.
Removeand ReplaceFilters --
1. Cookingtop:Placefingerin
recessatfrontedgeof filter;push
filterto rear untilfrontedgeclears
theexhaustopening;lowerthe
frontandremove.Whenclean,
replace.Placeedgeoffilteragainst
springat rear ofexhaustopening.
Pushto rear, liftfrontedge,andlet
springpushfilterforwardintoplace
underedgeofexhaustopening.
2. Hood:Extendhoodas far as
possible,or removehoodextension
if desired;seeillustrationbelow.
Placefingersoneachsideat
bottomoffilter.Pressfiltertolefi
untilit clearstheholderon right
side,thenremove.Whenclean,
replace.Pushfilteragainstclipat
lefiandpressleftuntilfilterclears
holderat rightside.Push filter
towardopeningandreleaseso it
sli~sbehindholder.
