Listening to the radio
Tuning in a radio station

Press TUNER FUNCTION to
select a radio band.
Press FUNCTION on the unit
repeatedly until “TUNER FM” or “TUNER
AM” appears (CMT-SBT300W), or “DAB”
or “TUNER FM” appears (CMT-
SBT300WB) in the display .

Press TUNING MODE
repeatedly until “AUTO” appears
in the display .
Each time you press the button, the
tuning mode changes to AUTO, PRESET
or MANUAL.

Press TUNE +/– .
The frequency indication in the display
starts changing.
Tuning stops automatically when a
radio station is tuned in, and “STEREO”
(when a FM stereo broadcast is
received) appears in the display
(Automatic Scanning).
Manual tuning
Press TUNING MODE repeatedly
until “MANUAL” appears in the display
, and then press TUNE +/– to tune
in the desired station.
Notes on DAB/DAB+ stations (CMT-SBT300WB
only)
• When you tune in a station that provides
RDS services, information such as the
service name or station name is provided
by broadcasts.
• When tuning in a DAB/DAB+ station, it
may take a few seconds before you hear
any sound.
• Primary service is automatically received
when secondary service ends.
• This tuner does not support data services.
Tip
If reception of an FM stereo broadcast is noisy,
press FM MODE repeatedly until “MONO”
appears in the display to select monaural
reception. This reduces noise.
“MONO” is displayed for four seconds.
