Google Voice typing text entry
Touch a text entry field to open the touchscreen keypad.
Touch , then say what you want to type. You can speak
for as long as you like, pause whenever you want, and
dictate punctuation to create correct sentences.
Customize
Customize your smartphone’s sounds and appearance:
Ringtone and notifications: To choose ringtones or
notifications, tap Menu >
System settings

Sound
.
“Set alarm” “Time” or “for” & time (such as
“10:45 a.m.” or “20 minutes from
now”), “Label” & name of alarm.
Example: “Set alarm for 7:45 p.m.,
label, switch the laundry.
“Listen to” Words to search YouTube™ for (such
as the name of a song, artist, or
album).
Example: “Listen to: Black Hole Sun.
Say Followed by
Vibrate or silent: To make your smartphone vibrate
for incoming calls, tap Menu >

Vibrate when ringing
. To turn off
ringtones for incoming calls, tap Menu >

Ringtone for a contact: To set a personal ringtone for

Volume: To set volume, just press the volume keys in

(earpiece volume), or while playing music or a video
(media volume).
•Message alert: To change your new message

Display settings: To change brightness, animation,

•Rotate: In many apps, the touchscreen switches from
